Citizen guide

Explore civilian careers.

Compare the public jobs in TVRP Enhanced and choose a role that fits the kind of character you want to play.

Public jobs

Find a shift that fits your character.

The TVRP Job Center is the public starting point for civilian jobs. The options below describe the type of roleplay involved, not fixed pay rates, guaranteed job availability or a walkthrough that overrides in-game instructions.

Starting point: use the public interactive city map to find TVRP Job Center, then read the job's instructions once inside the city. Most job systems can be found in the public guidebook too.

01 / On the move

Transport & logistics.

Bus Driver

Follow passenger routes around the city, stop safely and keep the schedule moving. This is a useful choice for someone who enjoys Los Santos streets and shorter interactions with other people.

Helpful habit: take time to position the bus properly at a stop and follow the route prompts rather than rushing to the next marker.

Taxi Driver

Provide point-to-point transport. A taxi character has an easy reason to start conversations, discover new neighborhoods and build a reputation for dependable service.

Helpful habit: verify the pickup and destination instructions before setting off. Your passengers may be part of a story, not just a task.

Trucker Logistics

Move freight for the city. This style of work is a good fit for players who want a longer journey, vehicle handling and the feeling of running deliveries across a working economy.

Helpful habit: check the cargo and loading instructions shown at the dispatch point before departing.

Tow Operator

Recover vehicles and assist with transport-related incidents. Tow work creates a natural bridge between mechanical services, stranded drivers and roadside roleplay.

Helpful habit: pay attention to secure loading, vehicle positioning and return instructions to avoid interrupting the job.

02 / Public infrastructure

Work the city depends on.

Garbage / Sanitation

Travel through the city on collection routes and participate in the everyday work that keeps streets operating. It suits characters who prefer a routine with visible stops rather than a permanent desk job.

Use the sanitation depot and route prompts to guide the shift. When joining another worker, coordinate who handles the truck and collection tasks.

Utility Services

Take on infrastructure and maintenance work through a technician-oriented job. The utility career includes progression and training elements, making it a choice for a character who wants to learn a trade over time.

Look for the Utility Services starting point, read the available training or duty instructions and follow the job's current requirements.

03 / Materials & supply

Hands-on civilian work.

Scrapyard

Work with recoverable scrap and materials in an industrial setting. It suits characters interested in practical labor, vehicle parts and the physical side of the city's economy.

Use the public scrapyard location on the map; any available equipment, material quantities and transactions are governed by the in-game system.

Recycling

Sort and process recyclable items at the recycling center. Unlike a transport job, the role focuses on handling materials and following the correct processing steps.

Follow the interaction instructions at each station, especially when learning what items belong where.

Vineyard

Take a break from the urban streets and work among the vines. Vineyard work offers a rural character storyline and a connection between agricultural labor and deliveries.

Begin at the vineyard work location. Follow the current harvesting and delivery instructions provided in game.

04 / Specialist work

A different kind of shift.

Commercial Diver

Explore work beneath the surface rather than on city roads. Diving gives a character a reason to know coastal areas, equipment and the risks of working in the water.

Before beginning, review the activity's oxygen and equipment instructions. Plan your return to safety rather than treating a dive as unlimited underwater time.

Other activities

Fishing, hunting and community activities may be available outside the Job Center's main career list. Availability, licensing and locations can differ by activity.

Use the public map and in-game guidebook for information. For an event or informal meetup, players can coordinate through ordinary roleplay and the phone instead of waiting for an official event script.

05 / Player-driven economy

Some jobs are built around other players.

Mechanic & vehicle services

Mechanic work is a player service role rather than a standard Job Center route. A mechanic interacts with customers, handles repair needs and contributes to the value of vehicle ownership. This is why local repairs are only a fallback when no mechanics are on duty.

Interested in working at a shop? Ask through the official Discord community or the appropriate in-city employer rather than assuming access is unlocked automatically through public job progression.

Public departments

Police, EMS and DOJ are department responsibilities with recruitment and roleplay standards. They involve longer-running professional stories and leadership expectations different from ordinary work routes.

Read the applications and department guide before deciding to pursue one of those positions. Current openings are announced through the community, not guaranteed by this page.

Important: the guides describe the type of work you can explore, but earnings, progression and controls are subject to the live server's rules and updates.
